It was hard hearing everything you had to say and I think I’m over it now but still it lingers in my memory did you have to be so cruel? Did you have to put me down? Couldn’t you have found a more poetic way to work your issues out? I don’t know what I expected but it wasn’t this I will be what I’ll be and you will see I don’t care just what you say or if you’re thinking about me and though my mind will fall behind my soul will be free I will be what I’ll be and you will see I had to take a step back I had to push rewind I had to find myself a place deep in the back of my mind where I could hide with everybody lookin at me I don’t want to be paranoid but everybody’s out to get me and my fait I can’t avoid I’ll never be who they see and they will never see me but I won’t loose my sanity to this vanity no more (Chorus)
